Hi everyone,
This is one i have used before. It is supposed to be for when you've lost a loved one, have health issues etc but i suppose you can just change it slightly to suit any situation. You can use any type of flower that you're attracted to and all you need is a vase to keep it upright and in your line of vision (or just below as to not tire your eyes) as you relax! Sit comfortably, taking a few breaths to calm and centre your body. Set aside all worries and distractions. Take a long look at the flower in front of you. Empty you mind, remembering to breath normally. Notice the flower's unique beauty and let your mind drift over the flower, allowing yourself to be drawn to any part you wish. Breathe in the unique scent or imagine the beautiful colour moving over your skin and inside of you. Imagine the smell or colour is healing you of any illness or experience that is currently troubling you. Allow the flower to be your soul focus, needing it's purity inside of you. If you're grieving for a loved one, allow your tears to flow if you feel the need but all the time breathing in the very essence of this beautiful flower. You will know when to end this meditation when your mind is once again calm and your are mentally pulling away from the flower in front of you.
